“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
We’ve made it safely to Soroti, after being in Jinja for a few days and the Senior Pastors and Wives’ Conference is now over! Things went very well and I feel like the Holy Spirt really moved this week! Our team (besides Pastor Gary and Miss Carol) mostly helped with child care, but we also lead worship on Thursday! The people here are so nice and on FIRE for the Lord. The worship blew me away. Pastor Andy (who tested positive for covid initially) ended up getting negative results after spending a night at a hospital in Kampala. He was able to make it to the conference and share the messages the Lord had put on his heart. He’s now here with us in Soroti. Praise God!
When we were going through our devotional the other day we were talking about God’s unconditional, never-ending love. That’s been the theme for our trip and this conference, but something that spoke to me was being reminded that God’s love should fill us up and that we should share that love with anyone and everyone we can – not because we have to, but out of the willingness of our hearts to praise Him and show our love for Him.
That’s my desire for this trip. That God’s love would overflow in me and that I would share even a small amount of it with others. God’s love is infinite, God’s love is eternal. I could never hope to fully experience or fully understand His love for me or the world; but I can live in it now. I can live in His love and through His love, and reflect it towards others.
One thing this trip has taught me is that God’s love is not limited. God loves everyone equally; from all corners of the world. He chose us to be His friends, that bear His fruit and that it would remain.
“We were all God’s first choice for His friends.”Pastor Gary
Thank all of you who have been praying for the team and the ministry out here. The enemy is trying to stop God from working but He is not finished yet! Through every attack there is a testament to the Lord’s goodness. We appreciate all those who are lifting us up back home.
In Christ Alone,
