Psalm 37:3 – “ Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feast on His faithfulness.”
After a wonderful senior pastors and wives conference in Jinja, we headed out to Soroti where we arrived at the church.
The next day we were lead by Pastor Juventine on a tour of Bethesda Hospital and the soon to be OBGYN clinic and dental office. You could see God’s provision and hand at work.
That evening we joined the school of ministry in their alumni celebration.
On Sunday, we joined both church services at Calvary Chapel Soroti and were warmly welcomed. Pastor Gary taught from a passage in the the book of Isaiah.
“Here I am, send me.”
After service we played with the children and hung out with friends. The children were super sweet, and were really happy to sing, dance, and play with us. They even taught us their own songs/games and motions that went with them. Later on that evening we attended the graduation of the students in the school of ministry.
The last event took place on the following day. This event was the woman’s conference. In the conference, the speakers taught in Colossians 3 talking about putting on and wearing the garment of Christ. Among the speakers were Miss Carol, Miss Kim, Miss Nancy, etc. At the end of the conference there was a Q and A session which cleared up and/or gave counsel for the women. Later, when it was time to leave, we said good bye to the children and we left for Naluko. We have arrived safely and are staying at the beautiful guest compound.
Please keep us continually in your prayers.
