Update for the AIR Uganda Team

Thank you all for praying and loving us.

Please keep praying for our daughter Heather. She is sick with Covid right now which will probably prevent her from flying out with the rest of the team coming on the 16th. She said she is a little better everyday, but her lungs still don’t like a lot of her moving or talking.

Rebecca and I were in the village for a week and had such a blessed time walking out life with our brothers and sisters. I taught the ladies devotions from Colossians every morning. We helped with laundry, meals and went to the new church on Sunday.

We moved the girls into their new home ( Anchor of Hope House). They love it! They had a big rainstorm and they told Majok that God had blessed their new home by sending the rain.

I introduced Rebecca to Angela, the young woman we met last time, who had a c-section, the baby died, she went lame and became incontinent. She has been coming to the Hearts 4 Africa hospital for treatment. She came to see Sherill and shared with us how thankful she is for God bringing us into her life. Truly she said, “I lost all hope until you came. I know that God has sent you and I am so grateful for where I am today. She was a Catholic, but has now become born again and wants to serve in the church.

We are going to Buwama, (about 2 hours away)on Saturday morning for a wedding, church and fellowship on Sunday. Not the safest area, a lot of crime, witch doctors and evilness in this area. That is why Charles and Levenia have planted a church and are opening a medical facility there.

This will be the 1st wedding and Gary will be preaching at it. Gary will teach Sunday morning, Rajiv will teach the men and I will be teaching the ladies on Sunday afternoon.

God is answering your prayers. Thank you for being a part and changing so many lives as we stand together in sharing the gospel and loving God’s people.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Love you all,
