Prayer for the girls starting school

First day of school! Today we took Naka, Rose and Joy to school. Schools have been closed for two years here so this is going to be a real challenge for kids coming back after being away for so long. In fact Naka at 7 years old has never been to school before but she was so excited. As she said goodbye she gave me a hug and said, “bye, see you at Christmas!”

Joy was a little teary eyed as we left so of course that made Carol cry. Please pray for them as they get back into their studies again!

Last night we spent the evening making daddies which is a small cookie that they can take to schools for snacks that can last for two months. They were so excited to have them and it was fun to make.

Thank you for praying for these precious girls!
